OUR 3-STEP TAILORED APPROACH
STEP 1 - Initial Phone Consultation
Congratulations on taking the first step towards getting organized!
First we arrange a 30-minute phone consultation to assess your organizational and decluttering needs, determine how we can help, and if we will be the best resource for you.
During our initial phone consultation, we will need to know:
- Which rooms need organizing,
- The size of the areas,
- The amount of clutter that needs to be tackled, and
- Whether you are packing up to move or unpacking following a recent move.
STEP 2 - In-Home Visit
Each in-home visit lasts about 1 hour, depending on the size of the area being decluttered.
Declutter Solution will view precisely how you live and use your current space as a guide to assess the root of your organizational struggles. There is no need to clean up or do any type of pre-sorting prior to our arrival. We actually recommend you leave your space exactly as it is!
Once we arrive, we will tour your living space to carefully observe how you utilize it. We will learn how you use various items and what is important for you and ask lots of questions to learn more about your organizational preferences and understand your organizational struggles.
After the in-home visit, we will draft a tailored quote outlining a plan specific to your needs and situation to help you become more organized.
STEP 3 - Declutter Solution Sessions
Third and finally, the decluttering sessions are the most important part of the process! Each session lasts about 3 hours and depending upon your situation and needs, you might require 2 or more sessions.
We select an area to tackle first and you will work alongside us, as you will be an intricate part of the decluttering process.
Declutter Solution partners with donation centers and organizations, like The Salvation Army and St. Jude to help remove your old items.
We will put you on the road to success by offering maintenance tips, so that you can keep the same level of organization, even after we’ve left.
